Bobby Deal, Owner/Broker of NC Realty & Appraisal, has been in the real estate business for over 31 years, starting out as an appraiser in the Hickory Area in 1986. Bobby holds all three licensees: Real Estate Broker, Appraiser & Auctioneer in the state of North Carolina. Bobby also works with local municipalities, utility companies, and the NCDOT Highway Department, acquiring right of ways for the following: transmission & distribution lines, substations & tie stations, water & sewer lines, sidewalk & roadway projects. Prior to re-opening the NC Realty & Appraisal, Inc. office in Newton, Bobby spent over 7.5 years with Duke Energy in the Real Estate Department. In this role Bobby was responsible for covering the Western region of North Carolina, handling the following: right of way negotiations for transmission lines, substations and tie stations; working with project surveyors, project managers, customers, legal departments, outside counsel, property owners, local surveyors, engineers, government agencies, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, Register of Deeds, Clerk of Courts and local agencies.  Bobby opened NC Realty & Appraisal, Inc. in July of 1996, after working for NCDOT from 1993-1996 as a Right of ay Agent in Shelby, NC.

Bobby is a lifelong resident of Catawba County and remains very active in the local community. He earned his Eagle Scout Award & Vigil Honor in 1982 as a youth, Boy Scout Troop 317. He has earned two professional designations:  GRI designation = Graduate, REALTOR Institute from the National Association of Realtors and his SR/WA designation = Senior Right of Way Professional through the International Right of Way Association.  Bobby is proud to have an office in Newton and is committed to providing real estate service with integrity to all of his clients.
